Intro to Drawing for Teens
Teen Intro to Drawing – Class Description
Give your creativity room to grow in our Teen Intro to Drawing class! Designed for ages 12–18, this weekly class builds a strong foundation in essential drawing skills while encouraging students to explore their personal artistic style.
Class Meets:
Mondays, 4:30–5:30 PM
Session Options:
Session 1: January 19th – March 9th
Session 2: March 16th – May 5th
(No class April 6th for Spring Break)
Students will learn a variety of drawing techniques using charcoal, graphite, colored pencils, and paint. We’ll begin with still life and stationary objects to strengthen observation skills, then progress to drawing pets and people for more advanced practice.
All supplies are included, making this a perfect class for both beginners and returning young artists.
Instruction is led by Katie Black, a certified art instructor with many years of teaching experience at a local high school. Her supportive, step-by-step approach helps teens build confidence and skill in every project.'
